Costumers share in an intimate space with performers’ bodies. They measure, comment, and tighten the corsets. While standard best practices dictate fitting etiquette, costumers can use consent-based tools to welcome the performer into the conversation and action of costume measurements and fittings.

This workshop will cover creating space and time to promote actor agency, protocols for integrating informed consent into the costume design and fitting processes and creating imperative shop documentation, policies, and procedures.

Space in Digital Workshops is limited to ensure the best experience for our participants. We cannot offer refunds, but we are happy to transfer your registration to a future workshop (space allowing) with 7 days’ notice.

There is no waitlist for Digital Workshops. Classes are first-come, first-serve, and limited in size to maintain educational quality.

The Best Practices Digital Workshop or a comprehensive TIE workshop (e.g., Workshop Weekend) is a prerequisite for all other Theatrical Intimacy Education Digital Workshops. This ensures that all participants are conversant in TIE's specific approach and vocabulary, ensuring educational quality for all participants.
