Every actor brings something different to the process. Actors and Intimacy explores the techniques Intimacy Choreographers and Coordinators can use to collaborate more effectively with actors.

Topics covered include integrating IC techniques into the larger working group, working with actors who feel nervous about collaborating with an IC, addressing power and privilege disparities between actors, and addressing the logistics of working with institutions and production companies to support the whole team better.

Participants are encouraged to come with questions for discussion.

We know things are tight now, but we want you to have support and high-quality training. We proudly offer tiered pricing to ensure access to high-quality training for all participants, regardless of economic circumstances. Please pick the price point that best reflects your training budget. If you can purchase a higher tier, please consider doing so to save a spot for someone with less room in their budget.

Space in Digital Workshops is limited to ensure the best experience for our participants. Workshops are live; we currently do not offer workshop recordings. There is no waitlist for Digital Workshops. Classes are first-come, first-serve, and class sizes are limited to maintain educational quality.

After you complete your registration, you will receive an email with additional information and helpful links. You will receive an email with the link one day before the workshop. 

The Best Practices Digital Workshop or a comprehensive TIE workshop (e.g., Workshop Weekend) is a prerequisite for most other Theatrical Intimacy Education Digital Workshops. This ensures that all participants are conversant in TIE's specific approach and vocabulary, ensuring educational quality for all participants.
