Lillian Brown is a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Theatre at Ripon College, where she oversees the acting and directing curriculum. With a diverse background in acting, movement, voicework, devising, and staged intimacy, Lillian brings a well-rounded approach to her work. Her professional focus is on creating theatrical experiences that emphasize both artistic exploration and ethical, safe practices for performers. Lillian’s work is deeply rooted in her passion for both creative expression and fostering an inclusive, supportive environment where artists can explore and grow. She strives to blend artistry and ethics in everything she does, creating spaces that encourage dialogue, discovery, and respect. Select directing credits include Everybody, The Great American Trailer Park Musical, The Thanksgiving Play, The Wolves, The Spitfire Grill, and The Thin Place. She holds an MFA from The Ohio State University and a BA from The University of Northern Colorado.
