Khalil LeSaldo (HE/they)
Khalil LeSaldo is an actor, writer, director, and teacher.
As an actor, he has worked at Portland Stage Company, Cape Feare Regional Theatre, Totem Pole Playhouse, Theatre Raleigh, PlayMakers Repertory Company, Burning Coal Theatre, Theater at Monmouth, Tennessee Shakespeare Company, Theater Breaking Through Barriers, and others. He has also toured his original work to Fringe Festivals around the country.
He is a cofounder and writer for 2Sheets Theater Company, and has written for the off-Broadway Theater Breaking Through Barriers.
As a director, he has worked with Theater Breaking Through Barriers, Kenan Theater Company and 2Sheets Theater Company.
He has taught with many theaters, at UNC Chapel Hill, and with the Philadelphia Improv Theater.
Khalil is a collaborative creator who likes to make people feel safe and keep shame out of the room.
