This workshop helps directors understand how to integrate the Best Practices’ tools into all aspects of direction beyond moments of physical intimacy. The workshop will discuss establishing a consent-based space and normalizing boundaries from the casting process into production. We will also discuss when a director needs and/or wants to hire an intimacy choreographer/coordinator and how to have a productive and positive collaborative process.

Space in Digital Workshops is limited to ensure the best experience for our participants. Workshops are live; we currently do not offer workshop recordings. There is no waitlist for Digital Workshops. Classes are first-come, first-serve, and class sizes are limited to maintain educational quality.

The Best Practices Digital Workshop or a comprehensive TIE workshop (e.g., Workshop Weekend) is a prerequisite for most other Theatrical Intimacy Education Digital Workshops. This ensures that all participants are conversant in TIE's specific approach and vocabulary, ensuring educational quality for all participants.
