In this workshop, we'll reframe the techniques of improvisation, highlighting how consent-based practices align with the goals of an improvisational ensemble; we will discuss how to establish guiding principles for improvisational classrooms and performances, and we will offer practical tools that can be used in-the-moment to work from a place of consent without breaking character.

The Best Practices Digital Workshop or a comprehensive TIE workshop (i.e. Workshop Weekend) is a pre-requisite for most other Theatrical Intimacy Education Digital Workshops. This ensures that all participants are conversant in TIE's specific approach and vocabulary to ensure educational quality for all participants.
